But walk five minutes in any direction and you’ll hit Leather Lane Market (great for lunch), or head toward Holborn and find some genuinely excellent pubs that tourists rarely discover. The staff actually gave me some solid recommendations for dinner spots that weren’t the obvious choices, which showed they really know their neighborhood.
